This usefull tool was exclusivly made for Kofler-Dichtungen and allows you to mount seals easier than ever before. This pliers makes mounting even small seals fast and comfortable - prevent ruining your seals.

Seals for the world's largest test centreSeals for the world's largest test centre for wind turbines in the "Clemson Project" were supplied by Kofler-Dichtungen. With our many years of know-how in seal production we are also a competent partner in the energy and power engineering sector.

As part of a major tender of the US government, RTS and Clemson University were able to secure a project for the world's largest test centre for wind power plants and offshore turbines.  The new test centre is located in a harbour area on the Cooper River in North Charleston, South Carolina, USA. Two new test benches are now located in a former warehouse that was carefully planned and re-erected for the project: One for small drive trains for turbines with an output of up to 7.5 megawatts and one for turbines of twice the size. Both test benches permit simulation of both wind loads as well as the strain on the drive unit.

For this order, which is of global importance in the field of sustainable energies, Kofler-Dichtungen supplied customised seals with outstanding stability.
